Technical connection logs
When you access this website, the hosting and content-delivery systems automatically process technical connection data. This can include the IP address, date and time, requested hostname and path, request method, response status and size, connection and response timing, browser-supplied user-agent, HTTP and TLS information, an approximate country and network operator/ASN, and a Cloudflare request identifier. Search-parameter contents, form bodies and authentication headers are not included in the dedicated technical log.
Purposes and legal basis
The data is processed to deliver the website, maintain its availability and performance, detect abuse and automated attacks, investigate security incidents, and produce aggregate operational statistics. The legal basis is AET Architects B.V.'s legitimate interest in operating and protecting its website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Automated traffic labels may help distinguish likely bots and security scans; they are not used to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
Retention and access
Raw connection logs are retained for no more than 42 days and then removed automatically. The richer dedicated technical log is retained for no more than 30 days. Data relevant to a specific security incident may be retained for longer, but only for as long as necessary to investigate and document that incident. Access is restricted to authorised technical administrators and service providers.
Service providers
The origin server is hosted in Poland, within the European Economic Area. Cloudflare provides content-delivery and security services and may process connection data through its global network under its applicable safeguards. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
